Integrated, Systemic Change
I help people find their own sense of peace. Peace with themselves and peace with their loved ones. I don’t claim it’s easy, but I do know it’s possible for everyone. Modern society, especially here in Los Angeles, too often downplays the necessary role our feelings and instincts play in day-to-day choices.
We’re biased toward intellect and pretend everything we do is rational, when in reality we’re often making emotional decisions and then rationalizing them.
To me, the real goal of therapy is to embrace our feelings. To understand that they exist to help us! Our goal shouldn’t be to squash them but rather use them more effectively — to become mindful of what we’re feeling and where those feelings came from.
